This is pretty good!

The hypno-bass really keeps me around and my head kinda swings in a circle with that wandering synth. The third melody is bit hard in the sense that it disturbs my hypnosis but, it isnt bad. If you had breakdown near the end, it would revitalized the original sound for another 30 seconds.

Neato!

LiNaK37 responds:

HOLY SHIT! I'm a big fan of yours bro, I about exploded when I saw the name of the person that left this review. I could have added a breakdown, but I was way to fucking sleepy to fool with anything like that, because as the title suggests I threw this together before I went to sleep. Took a solid 30 minutes to make. Yeah but thanks for the review and again HOLY SHIT I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S YOU!!!! I wonder who's gonna review my audio next prolly paragonx9 or B0UNC3.

Two Vibes...

I felt like I was in front of a candy casino slot machine and/or SEGA AM/2 arcade game, like Daytona or its kin... "I love you" LOL

NKAT responds:

"I love u" was a subtle joke making fun of my worthless x-girlfriend. She didn't like that too much.

SLuT machine :p.......

Ok, NKAT

I'm a big fan of yours so, you can't do any wrong BUT, this a bad day for me I guess.

I'm feel like I'm trapped in Super Mario Purgatory... fuck, I dislike Mare-E-O. However, it did flow... so I went with it and could not deny it. It was nice!

Do me a cracker and toss me a review you haven't ain't befoW

NKAT responds:

haha, well that lost song you put out was pure awesome, 'Im Still Here Cant Catch Me'. I maybe could understand that this is too upbeat or positive for anyone really. It has captured the vibe of my mundane, yet appreciative summer i.e. life sucks a lil 1:31 captures that the most.

What the hell

You've got like this mini mental adventure thing happening in your music. Maybe its me, maybe I'm coocoo for crotch puffs or maybe you are on different frequency than most because it's not just this tune, its gotta be the shoes.

What I'm trying to say, damn my brain, is that I like where you push your sound style or whatever you want to call it. And the drums at 0:21, is that a sample you picked up or did you make it with a kit?

NKAT responds:

yes that is the "Firefight" sample @0;21, it is very low pitch and slow=sludge. My shoes suck and the others are still muddy from a prank we did like 4 months ago. Ima clean them or buy others, I got the socks though. Yes! Ty for the 1O

I haven't learned to play an instrument correctly

... so, I hope you find this fair from an inexperienced critic.

Aside from Clocks, I hadn't heard the other two pieces before so, I went ahead and looked them up to compare. You've made good renditions. I think I heard a couple little hiccups in the last two songs but, they weren't major. For not playing for 5 years, I would say that this was impressive.

Improvements? With recording quality, the clearer live music sounds, the better. (Did someone leave a message at 3:02?) Not sure what to use for a piano, tho I know you can use a vocal mic on an acoustic guitar and it will sound great.
I think that if you worked on your speed, maybe? Notes into those predictable sequences at speed would help me recognize the tune... but, you could play it at a slower speed and call it your own because I wouldn't know the difference. :D

You have exposed me to some good music, thanks. 4/5

Kreepman responds:

This was originally from a video I recorded, I just made the audio an MP3 (my cousin wanted it xD).
This was, obviously, played live in front of a camera, so I do mess up a couple times and OF COURSE, a goddamn telemarketer JUST HAS TO CALL while I'm recording, haha.

Thanks for the review!
I now record all my piano pieces via a cable hooked up to my PC xD

I only played DKC for about 45 minutes...

...so I haven't heard nor would remember all the music. So as this stands by itself, it is a well played little piece. I wouldn't recognize it as part of a vg soundtrack.

It is however, too short and slow to warrant multiple listens.

Well played.

Kreepman responds:

Too short? Yes. I will agree, but thats only cause I never learned the rest of the song xD.
Too slow? Yes. I will also agree, but I couldn't go any faster!

Overall, I thank you for your well structured review and I will take what you said in consideration for when I re-record this :D

Oh, and you played DKC 15 minutes longer than me xD

Killing me man

All I'm gonna say, after going through a bunch of your songs, is that you present a great style. You know how and what you are playing and it is proven in your writing. Your stories tie in nearly perfectly to your music even though the songs can stand on their own. Inspired me to give it go... awesome work.

atmos929NG responds:

I love you too!!! :O

;)... thanks a lot for your comments, I appreciate them.

Wow

The story and the music make great entertainment. Excellent direction for my imagination with the story. The music gets so big for your plot that I had to think on the level Disney goes with their cartoons, how grandiose they can make littlest of tales.

Well done!

atmos929NG responds:

thank you... you made my day by accepting my daring :D

Good composition

I happened to like the piano and the bass together. I liked the comp best when it picks up. Only downfall in my ears... that cymbal/hi-hat, man. It was all up in my right ear, dominating that side. If that came down a bit, or moved to the left a bit, it would be more pleasant to me.

Nice!

atmos929NG responds:

yeah... this drum samples are supposedly played from a drummer perspective, with hi-hats on the right... and back at the time I did not know how to mess around with the samples... changing the panning was not as intuitive as I hoped...

Learned how to do that later thou :D... It's not in my current plans to modify this project... got way too many projects on hold waiting for me getting free time :).

Thanks for your comments.

Geez...

I feel miserable now. Thanks, ya bastard.

Joshin' ya. This is actually a mixed bag of emotion for me. At given points, each instrument is yearning and gets lost and then hopeful. I'm really listening and it the moods shift. It's neat. I can't say that I would listen to this very often because it definitely feels like I'm not driving myself, you know what I mean?

I'll check out your other business. ;D

atmos929NG responds:

thanks a lot for your words... I hope you get better soon xD

I'm a fudge cucumber.
