You know what makes it...

...cool in the first minute, quick snaps of silence, like :42. It took me a couple plays to understand why you suppressed the s f/x for the bass line but, that other synth comes in and it's like, ah... ok. The sudden spike in volume at 2:17... I would've expected gradual envelope. Its all good.

buyj3llo responds:

ugh, the spike at 2:17, it was unintentional. I heard it and just tried to pretend it didn't exist. thanks for the review.

Eeeeeaaaarrrrr

You know what I'm talking about? I can't tell if that's a vox or a synth but, It's my favorite. It makes the most sense inside of that hyper synth. The piano and the "uh uh uh uh" keeps everything on track. Eeeeaaaaarrrrrrr. :D

Also, super cool of you offering up your whole assembly. I agree with you... almost 100%

hanorotu responds:

The Eeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaarrr is actually just a voice clip lol

Neat Meat

Usually, I'm not a fan of glued tunes but, this is pretty cool. Got a give props to those that made a pretty wicked cover. The vox are little muffed, maybe you wanted it that way? I never would think to put these two together, Good on ya

Gave me a feeling

And I'm not sure I want to feel it but, hey, its familiar so, it's home.
First, thank you for not relying on samples or prefabbed shit, YOU come across much clearer. And because you come across, I can hear a bit a me, if ya dig. Seriously, you got choice words and I seem to run into those thoughts too frequently. Just... good shit, dude.
The melodies are pleasant, only that piano/guitar font could drop in volume or find its own channel in the stereo - it pulls me away from your voice. Your low-shelf singing in chorus sounds real good (even tho I cant make it out exactly - "ehyeeaaeeaah" love that sound.
Yes.

B-RadGfromOV responds:

Thanks man. You're awesome.

Kind of empty

It reminds me of menu music for like a tech demo for a VooDoo card... :34 gets into its most interesting place. I mean thats it, isnt it? Kick, snare, wip horn, pan the filtered high hat, and sweep the static. It's not bad but, it doesn't stand out like you want it to.

LiNaK37 responds:

Thanks for the review, even though my new stuff isn't that great. I really don't know what happened, after I made that Posia Remix WIP thingy it just went downhill from there.

OH ahaaaa

No wonder, you wrote that on a review! You hypnotized yourself. Truthfully I am laughing trying to type this out. :D

LiNaK37 responds:

We've got a regular Sherlock Holmes!

Ritz190 has got it in the description

This one has got juice... The tone of the instruments have a lot of space in between them, they're all distinct. The pacing in the chords is great, too, matched with those stuttering drums. I wish I had the ear to make this myself. Sweet.

demsis responds:

Wow! a ton of reviews from you.
"I wish I had the ear" - nobodies ever said anything like that to me before really. I mean I might have alright ears, but on NG nobody has ever really looked up to me in that way.
Thanks pookicker.

Hahaaa Boats! Got it

Its the tone of the flute, or wind instrument. It reminds me of a ship's horn. The tinny sweeps throw in an electronic sea breeze flavor. Everything comes together nicely, especially at 1:36. Real pleasant. :D

demsis responds:

Yeah - It's the Flute.
Thanks for all that... Real pleasant, yeah :)

Good Start

I can imagine some sweeping synths or strings with it. Although, I'd use it with some bass-y percussion. I see the dynamics of velocity were already mentioned... The lowest note could use some disguising, or chords. At :40 you can tell that you can do a lot with it. Good starting platform.

demsis responds:

Yeah, the lowest note is quite a stranger.
True. I also considered updating the song and adding some long string notes in the background. But I'm also not sure if it's Worth It now.

Thanks for your feedback.

Spatial

and hard. Its got a relentlessness to it. Could be intimidating. Could be great to work out to. Yeah, get pissed-off listening to this and throwsome weight around would build some muscle. I especially like this in the headphones.

I'm a fudge cucumber.
