Good composition

I happened to like the piano and the bass together. I liked the comp best when it picks up. Only downfall in my ears... that cymbal/hi-hat, man. It was all up in my right ear, dominating that side. If that came down a bit, or moved to the left a bit, it would be more pleasant to me.

Nice!

atmos929NG responds:

yeah... this drum samples are supposedly played from a drummer perspective, with hi-hats on the right... and back at the time I did not know how to mess around with the samples... changing the panning was not as intuitive as I hoped...

Learned how to do that later thou :D... It's not in my current plans to modify this project... got way too many projects on hold waiting for me getting free time :).

Thanks for your comments.

Geez...

I feel miserable now. Thanks, ya bastard.

Joshin' ya. This is actually a mixed bag of emotion for me. At given points, each instrument is yearning and gets lost and then hopeful. I'm really listening and it the moods shift. It's neat. I can't say that I would listen to this very often because it definitely feels like I'm not driving myself, you know what I mean?

I'll check out your other business. ;D

atmos929NG responds:

thanks a lot for your words... I hope you get better soon xD

Crispy

I like precision. My arms and fingers are tired just listening to this.
Question though, is there a bass guitar in here at all? Doesn't sound like it. The melody isn't far reaching but, it's being rocked so, yeah! Would love to hear some screaming vocals on this.
Another question, is this recording all you or you and your band?

Final question, LOL, you mind swinging by my latest upload and rating it once more? I remastered the track I originally uploaded but, the new version wouldn't upload over the old one. -oh, and to answer your question (in case you didn't see my response) I only use ACID Pro and usually punch shit up with Cooledit 2

wilb0b responds:

yeah idk how to go about producing a well rounded bass sound, but for the most part the music is for listening to the structure so that i can find band members, I post it on NG for anonymous suggestions.

I cant do vocals worth crap, but if anyone thinks they can to these songs, go right ahead! this is all backing track for it anyways.

the recordings are all just me, but the music was a collab of all the members ideas, we were just 3 peice, no bassist haha go fig.

Um.....

That was great, dood! Leave the intro. 1) its beautiful 2) the contrast after it makes "The Undoing" a perfect title.

5/5 I'll have to check out your other stuff.

wilb0b responds:

hahaha thnx man, and yeah... my other stuff is very diverse, metal and dance lolol

Are you Gellen?

I'm Gellen. The bass did it for me. While walking, a cool, soft, breeze narrows my eye lids on a fall night and this is what it sounds like when the sun goes down.

NKAT responds:

hey, after getting to Fall Season right about now, your expo really does make a lot of sense. That feeling is a feeling of mischief and minor-sinister-esque lol deeds. That is just my personal feeling.

I'm thinking of Sega again

Great author comments! LO to the L

I see Streets of Rage with anime paint, Karate sharks fighting off teddy bears with strap-ons... what the...? Hang on, my psychiatrist calling.

NKAT responds:

while reading your review and considering responding to it, I texted my girlfriend simply "I Hate" on my phone. I can't wait to see what I get in response. Fuck you fag Ima hate kill you asap.

What that guy below me said...

The melody allows me to remember some good shit in my life... Soft, progressing notes are real nice and then get distracted by the chimes but, that's good though, because I can't wait for the notes to do their thing again. The percussion is great.
This tune is telling me to slow down. I've got too.

Awesome, dood.

NKAT responds:

I would like to slow down as well. Give me all the drama and emotions now..., but at a slower speed. Thanks

Like a jolly rancher fingers

This is a fun tune. For some reason, in my head,I'm 10 and playing with a Sega Menacer lightgun and telling my friend it's worth his mom's 80 bucks.

On boobs, gotta say I'm not a fan of the fake jugs. Like grabbing a jelly filled shower cap doesn't give me a boner, Scoobs. I'm into fiber-glass asses, though.

NKAT responds:

I just looked at an image of that gun. I could see someone being dubbed into paying $80 for it. Fake boobs are no. Vegas had some good ones, based on quantity, not quality.

Brain clench

My neck is being exercised by a rolling rhythm not often found on newgrounds. You have a precise grip on, what do you call it, digital stutter. I had to check out your other tunes and I am feeling very covetous of your talent.
At first, I focused on this from a technical perspective and was truly impressed. I realized I wasn't being fair because there is way more content layered in what you do. Simply put, I can think to this. Awesome.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Thank you for this comment. I appreciate the honest and thoughtful wording. I'm glad i could vibrate those chords inside your body. I hope my other tracks were equally as stimulating. Please continue to keep your ears open.

Good listen!

I definitely get the pulses you're taking about. There's a bit of controlled chaos inside of it. It's also the kind of different music that I look forward to listening to on here.

Dungeecount responds:

thanx! I'm glad you could hear the same things I was hearing, lol proves I haven't gone completely insane XD glad you enjoyed it, I'll be coming up with similar stuff shortly ^^

I'm a fudge cucumber.
